FOUNDED IN 2006, Lunden Food IS A FOOD PRODUCTION COMPANY THAT IS PART OF THE FINNISH CAPITAL-BASED OY Lunden AB GROUP, A FAMILY BUSINESS WITH A HISTORY OF OVER 80 YEARS.

1936

For the industrial production of vegetable products, the group established Jalostaja OY in Turku, Finland

2006

Lunden Tootmine OÜ was established by the group for the production of fresh ready-to-eat food in Estonia

2007

The company was renamed Lunden Food OÜ There were 32 employees, 1800 m2 of production space, and the factory produced only sandwiches

2008

The hot kitchen was renovated in the factory and the category of salads and ready-to-eat meals was added

2009

The company entered the Finnish market in the fresh sandwich category

2011

The first expansion of the factory was completed, achieving 3000 m2 of production space

2017

In May, the factory renovation was completed, expanding the production space to ​​7,000 m2

The Chef Lundén brand was launched in Finland. We sold the first private label products to the Latvian market.

2018

For the first time, we produced over a million sandwiches in a calendar month

2020

The Chef Lundén brand was launched in the Estonian market

A new office building was constructed. The pizza category was added to the portfolio, we produced more than 500,000 pizzas annually.

2022

The group acquired a meat products manufacturer Savuhovi OY. At the Best Estonian Food Product competition, Chef Lundén's Indian bowl with kitchari and paneer cheese won the title of Best Prepared Food in Estonia

2023

At the Best Estonian Food Product competition, Chef Lundén's Cabbage Rolls with Chicken Meat won the title of Best Prepared Food in Estonia. For the first time, we produced over 1.5 million sandwiches in a calendar month
